From the heart:

I have never liked or judged music by the sound or talent at first I have only ever judged it by the way it affected me. Jeff reached in my chest and tugged my heart waking it up to feel again. He was an incredable talent undeniably and his sound was unique but what he played was not only his guitar but the strings of many hearts. Jeff was as rare as things come and I only wish I would have been able to see him live. Jeff Rest In Peace for the playing lives on in my heart as well as many others. Hopefully one day I will attend that other venue where it belongs now with Angels.

Was just listening to one of his recordings and it hit me... I wish he was still with us, his class and passion were ever so present in every note.

Kind Regards,

Jonathan

how will we ever fill the hole left by his passing? jeff was living proof that where they may be one "disability", a great ability was waiting, only to be shared. thanks for sharing, jeff.

I sing 'Angel Eyes' karaoke all the time. It's a great belly rubber to get 'em out on the floor, it never fails. Everybody loves that song. It's quite special to me as its the first song I'd ever danced to with my true love.

I'm watching 'Road House' right now... Jeff, you'll never be forgotten my friend.

A few years ago Jeff played in Des Moines at a club, my friends band opened for him. I got to sit on stage while Jeff played, and in my opinion he was the most awesome guitarist I have ever seen. I have to share a giggle I got that night...seems there was a chick in the front row that was his BIGGEST FAN! She kept flashing Jeff, never understanding that the man couldn't SEE what she was flashing, lol. Jeff's band members are a great group of guys, I sincerely hope they continue on playing music for people like me!

i am truely heart broken to know that my favorite singer and guitarist is no longer with us! i saw the jeff healey band at center stage theater in 1993.they were so awsome.oh man, i loved this guy and his music. my dream was to meet him and talk about playing the guitar.i am learning to play, only i'm left handed.but i knew jeff could really help me through it.oh yea,i still have my shirt and my pin that's from the tour in "93" which was if you can't feel anything else, feel this.
i keep them with the up most pride.i will always love his music and the man himself! winford trotter
