Ti voglio bene!!!

I just now found out that Jeff is gone. I can hardly believe it. I don't know how I didn't hear about it sooner. He was easily one of the TOP 10 GREATEST GUITARISTS OF ALL TIME! I regret that I was never able to see him live. He had a personality that you couldn't help but like. I am sorry for your loss. You have alot of people out there praying for your family. His memory will live on in all of us.

Jeff was amazing. I truly admire him for all he accomplished. One song of his, Angel Eyes, has been a favorite of mine for years. It has wonderful meaning, in so many ways.

God bless.

On this the 2nd anniversary of our friends passing, an ever-lasting gratitude is felt, simple because some of us were privileged to meet and know Jeff before his days of fame when we attended high school together. Once that fame kicked in, Jeff still took the time to speak with me at gigs (with Sarah's assistance a few years back at the PNE in BC, again, thanks so much!) This example of a truly gifted person is humbling proof of Jeff's power of example to all people and especially musicians. I was honored to be a percussionist for Jeff thru high school in the bands and will never forget Fed-ex delivering his braille music right to our classroom. We all knew, we were in the presence of greatness, everyone respected Jeff and we always will. You are in our thoughts Jeff, Christie, Rachel, Derek, Gary and all the Jazz Wizards, love too you all! Let's keep Jeff's spirit alive...the right way.

My condolences countiue for Jeff's family and friends. I lost my childhood best friend to cancer Jan 18,2010 at the age of 36. Cancer robbed him of everything and left us numb and very saddened. Again my thougths and prayers are with you...
