I think of Jeff often when listening to his CD's; and as a long-time fan, his passing pains me still. I sure hope Jeff is recognised this year at the MapleLeaf Awards... and takes a full-sweep.. because of hearts could give awards, Jeff would have a trunk filled with hearts from around the world.. his music, his peronsality.. made Jeff quite special!! Caro Jeff mi mancherai tanto, anche perchè fai parte della mia vita. Io sono padre di una bimba che per lei tu eri e rimani il suo eroe, mia figlia Sara ha nove anni e ha imparato a conoscerti tramite i suoi genitori conosciutisi a un tuo concerto, Sara quando ha saputo della tua morte, ha pianto come i suoi genitori. Quindi caro Jeff, con la tua prematura scomparsa, è morta una parte della nostra vita, ci rimane solo un dolcissimo ricordo, oltre alle tue opere. Caro Jeff ti saluto dicendoti che sia io che mia moglie siamo infermieri professionali e lavoriamo tutti i giorni accanto alla sofferenza, non è una vita giusta. Riposa in pace Jeff.

I just heard today (10/23/08) that Jeff is gone...very sad to learn this news. He was such a talented blues musician and great guitar player. No matter how many times I have listened to so much of his music (100s)...i always get something new from it and am left wanting more. Please pardon my Billy Joel quote...only the good die young. condolences to his family and close friends

Hello to all of Jeff's family and Freinds.
We are a bit slow on the news here in Australia and I only found out the devestating news a few days ago and have listned to his music constantly since feeling very sad for the loss of an amazingly talented person.
Although I never knew him i find something very calming and warm in his voice and feel he would be great great partner, father and freind to all close to him.
He was and will forever be an inspiration.

I have only just found out about the very sad loss of this wonderful musician. I feel like I've had my head stuck in the sand for the past 7 months. I have had the priviledge of seeing Jeff Healey play concerts in Manchester a few years ago and have been struck by his talent and his humility on stage. The music world has lost a huge figure but it's a better world for having had Jeff Healey as a part of it. I wish to offer my sincere condolences to the most important people here, Jeff's wife, Cristie, his children Rachel and Derek, his father, step-mother and his sisters. I also extend my condolences to the rest of his family, his friends and to all those who were close to him. God grant you all comfort and love. Eternal rest to an amazing talent. Keep on rockin' Jeff and light up heaven! God bless you!
